PERT Consultancy, Inc. Signs Contract to Provide M&E Capacity Building Support to Six Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) under the USAID/Liberia Accountability and Voice Initiative (LAVI)

Under the Contract, PERT Consultancy will provide M&E capacity building support to six Liberian CSOs – COTAE, HOPE, IDI, NAPTANOL, NTAL, and YMCA. The key tasks of the Contract include:

  • Develop an action plan, after consultative meetings with each CSO to assess gaps and challenges, and understand expectations.

  • Design and deliver M&E training workshop to relevant CSOs staff

  • Provide mentorship to each CSO to finalize M&E plans, and to support M&E data analysis and reporting

PERT Consultancy, Inc. signed a contract with DAI-Global for M&E systems development and capacity building at the Ministry of Internal Affairs-Liberia

 

On May 17, 2019, PERT Consultancy entered into a Contract with DAI Global to provide Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (MER) capacity building support to Liberia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) under the USAID funded Local Empowerment for Government Inclusion and Transparency (LEGIT). LEGIT  is a four-year activity that focuses on increasing the accountability, transparency, and effectiveness, of sub-national government resources in Liberia by supporting the MIA and Governance Commission (GC) as they lead, monitor, and coordinate the implementation of the Government of Liberia’s (GOL) decentralization agenda. An amendment was made to the contract to include the development of an M&E policy framework for MIA.

 

The contract is valid from May 20, 2019 to December 20, 2019, and it includes the following deliverables:

  • Deliverable One: post-award meeting with LEGIT and MIA teams and work plan

  • Deliverable Two: rapid assessment; development of M&E policy framework for MIA; and validation of M&E policy framework

  • Deliverable Three: MER training modules; MER handbook; planning and reporting template; and validation of MER handbook and templates

  • Deliverable Four: MER capacity building training

  • Deliverable Five: literature review to document best practices in Monitoring and Evaluation of decentralization and de-concentration Initiatives across Africa

  • Deliverable Six: final consolidated report
